Usage: Required to retrieve the page URL, title, and performance metrics of the page you're measuring
Limitation: Only accesses the tab when you click the Extension icon; does not access tabs in the background
Purpose: Enables the Extension to run JavaScript code in the context of web pages
Usage: Necessary to inject performance measurement code that collects timing data from the browser's Performance API
Limitation: Code is only injected when you actively click the Extension icon to measure a page
Purpose: Allows the Extension to store data locally using Chrome's storage API
Usage: Required to save performance measurements, history, and monitoring preferences on your device
Limitation: Data is stored only on your local device and never transmitted externally
While the Extension does not transmit data externally, we take data security seriously:
All data is protected by Chrome's built-in security features
